With God we shall do Valiantly

"With God we shall do valiantly."
These are the words I have whispered to myself the past few days- the words of Psalm 60:12. Words of assurance, confidence, and courage. Words that acknowledge the deep trust that a believer has in God that He will carry out his will, no matter what, no matter the outcome.
Both victory and defeat come from the hand of the Lord. So, we must ask Him for His aid in the time of trouble and anxiety, for the help of man is worthless.
Only the Lord can provide deliverance. Only the Lord can bring us to victory.
He it is who can also bring to defeat.
All according to His pre-determined will.
Valiantly means, "Something that is done with courage and determination".
Therefore, God calls you and me to courage. At the same time, He orchestrates His will in our lives, asking us to trust Him enough to act courageously from the confidence that His purposes are already determined- already known, not by us, but by Him.
For our part, there will be faithful, valiant deeds done out of humble obedience- but on His, there will be His hands upon ours to guide our work, and His feet upon our enemies.
Friend, whatever foe you are facing, whether seen or unseen, whether proclaimed or hidden, with God, you shall do valiantly. He is on your side, fighting for you to give you hope, to strengthen your faith. He will bring about either glorious victory or bitter defeat- but regardless of the outcome, He can and will use it to strengthen you.
Don't lose faith. Trust in God, trust Him to handle the outcomes and results that remain hidden to you, serving as a constant source of stress, anxiety, and fear.
Whatever happens, it will only be done according to His pre-determined plan.
So with God we shall do valiantly.
