But so is our Freedom.

Only one year after being rescued from the Germans and the loss of her brother, Ruth DeVos is left reeling in the wake of freedom as British allies liberate the streets of Belgium. 
But with the first steps towards liberty come the harsh torrents of bombs as Hitler retaliates and unleashes upon Belgium one final desperate attempt to gain Nazi control over the port. 

And when Ruth is sent to Antwerp on assignment with the newly reformed newspaper, she and the remaining Still Waters clan must fight once more for their victory as they are faced with the darkness and destruction of war. 

While serving the wounded in Antwerp, Ruth is reunited with familiar faces, and old foes arise as Ezra is nearly lost to the fiery grasp of the bombs; as past collides with present, and dangers grow on every side, Ruth is forced to navigate the narrow path of grief and forgivenss by faith as she is faced once more with the darkness of her memories that she has tried to long to froget. 

As the war comes to a close and victory dawns, Ruth must learn to love her enemy and forgive the past as she begins to understand the cost of faith and freedom, and accepts that love often comes with loss.
